Farron kept this part of her diary untouched. She liked this part, the cunning assailant sneaking off into the night. Her dad being soft, not letting her and her brother go for twenty days - twenty days! Every other page was drawn all over and had pictures covering the text, or glitter sealing pages shut. She loved it.
This book was one of nearly three hundred in the palace. No one would think it out of place anywhere here. So that made it the best hiding place for all her secrets. Kept on the bookshelf with her other Provincial history classics, her diary stood as a tiny rebellion to the Satan's most important rule: no secrets.

It is said that on that night, the Hellian Ball had barely begun when the Divine walked the halls of Hellian Court. She bore with her a sacred gift for the new Satan, who had set himself apart from the tyrants of the past. Her message was clear.
There was to be a peace treaty written that night that was sure to unite both parties. The Divine declared her successor to be raised as Satan's own, that there would be a day when both Reapers and Demons could coexist and bring new harmony to the lands. The new Satan knelt before her, and accepted her gift. The Ball rejoiced.
It was then that the Divine revealed a most precious soul gem, its glow painting the heavens upon the Hellian Court. This was the vessel of the Divine. It was tended to as one would a new born, wrapped and cradled as the treaty was written. Those there that historic night each signed the witness statement, which is now framed and displayed in the L'Vhì Gallery.
As so many praised the Divine for her bravery, there was one who sought to smite her act of peace. The precious child slept in her vessel, a thief made chase of her. The assailant left five bodies in their wake and destroyed the door guarding the child with a powerful rune. The markings still stand today, a reminder to the new Satan to be vigilant.
It was then, as the Provinces believed the war was over, that the precious child was destroyed. The honourable lancers arrived to find just two thirds of the shattered gem laying on the floor. It is said they were still swaying as though recently disturbed. The men searched through the night, their comrades continuing the search through the next day, but the final piece of the Divine was never found.
As the Ball came to a close, the new Satan returned to his office to find the horrors that had unfolded. With peace so fragile, so close, the new Satan wept for his people. Feeling he had failed, the new Satan wrapped the remaining thirds of the child in his jacket and fled to his chambers.
It is believed then, when his soul slept, he healed the child's pain and gave the vessel life. The miracles of peace were bestowed on the Provinces, as the new Satan awoke to find there was two glowing forms in his hands. In his excitement, the new Satan announced himself a father to his children, Ajaxious and Farron, both anointed with the name Elidian, as all Divines are.
The new Satan stayed holding his children for twenty days as they gained their flesh.
As the children become of age to begin school, it is thought that Ajaxious will be attending the esteemed De Luca's Academy run by the new Satan's wife herself. As the young princess has recently been betrothed to a member of Avenue nobility, it is thought she will remain at the palace to continue her studies as royalty.
